Tan NuhoÄŸlu won an equivalent award in interior furniture, accessories and applications in the student category of the 2nd Natural Stone Project and Design Competition.

Gizem Helvacıoğlu won the achievement award in the first year category. In 'THE CALL FACTORY' project, the workmanship and the resulting products are considered as performing aspects and presented in one of the busiest places in its location in an unconventional way in order to raise awareness in society.

Pınar Zeyrek won the jury special award in the first year
category. 'IN BETWEEN' space surrounded by buildings on three sides; a contemporary ballet studio contributed by the bazaar and site circulation. This program aims to design a structure that won’t disrupt the function of the housing and commercial areas, and salı bazaar around the site and the parking lot within the site.

im2021 Design Competition Results
were announced
Pelin Acar won the 1st prize in the 2nd year category with her 'SENSE OF STRUCTURE' project , consists of a structure that aims to transform a movement, dance and display within itself. The project area is a place used as a transition area due to its location. The aim of the project is to revitalize this area and host different events.

Our 2019 graduate Ayberk Özdemir's project ''ETERNAL'' entered the top 20 in the International Design for Living Competition organized by IAAC Barcelona. His proposal will be published and exhibited in the international exhibition to be held in 2021.

IMMIB2021 Industrial Design Competition results announced
Atakan Ay won the 2nd prize in the student category of plastic products at the IMMIB2021 industrial design competitions.

results announced
Ä°rem Metin won the equivalent first prize with her museum design project in Eminönü. Asiye Nur Akbulut's museum design project in Karaköy was selected for the exhibition by the jury.

Karsu Ä°lhan won the encouragement award in the first year category. The excitement of playing hide and seek, the feeling of being in the air while climbing the wall, the tunnels where she likes to get lost, the excitement of preparing for dance performances at school and on stage are the basis of design of the 'CHILDISH' project.

were announced
Özge Hamurcu won the 3rd prize in the 2nd year category with her 'DISPLAY TUNNEL' project.The design idea evolved by creating a dark display tunnel to display the lamps in the most prominent way. This display tunnel in the center of the space allows users to experience the lamps and also affects circulation.

Two teams from MEF FADA students were awarded in ''Yarından Sonra C-19 Sonrası Mekan ve Nesne'' National Idea Competittion. Our 4th year architecture student Aydur Gürgenç won the 3rd prize in Public Space Category with Aslıhan Öztürk. Our 3rd year architecture students; Buse Åžahin, Hayrunnisa Mutlu, Ä°pek EriÅŸen and Satuk BuÄŸra Sarı won the Mention prize in Product Category.

MEF UNIVERSITY IS THE ONLY UNIVERSITY IN TURKEY AND ONE OF THE 18 ARCHITECTURAL UNIVERSITIES IN THE WORLD WHO IS INVITED TO THE EXHIBITION WHERE THE FUTURE OF 500 YEARS OLD RENAISSANCE CASTLE, CHAMBOARDS FUTURE IS DESIGNED
For the exhibition organized by The Domaine National de Chambord to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Renaissance Castle Chambord in France, the projects of 5 students and 5 faculty members from the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture of MEF University received an invitation which as only in Turkey, one of the 18 architectural universities in the world.
Only 50 architectural schools were invited from the world and asked to submit projects with the idea of "How can you imagine Chambord in the 21st century?". By combining scientific and utopian thought, the beauty of living heritage and how it can combine with modern technology in the most harmonious way were studied. 18 of them were selected from the presented projects and invited to the exhibition.
For the contest titled “Chambord Inachevé”, with the project proposed by MEF FADA DesignLab team consisting of; MEF University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture students Merve AkdoÄŸan, Nimet DeÄŸertaÅŸ, Yusuf Aras Kalkan, Sena Ünal, Selin Alara Bilgin and MEF Faculty Members; Assistant Prof. Burcu Serdar Köknar, Assistant Prof. Ozan Avcı, Assistant Prof. KürÅŸad Özdemir, Research Assistant Derya Uzal and Research Assistant Beril Sarısakal, had the honor of invited as the only university in Turkey and one of the 18 architectural universities in the world.
In the project named "Filling in the Blanks" designed at MEF University, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, DesignLab, the parts of the castle that have not begun to be completed and have been completed are covered with a fiber forest knitted by robots. The cabinets in this pattern hosted the production and experience of invited researchers and artists. The project will be on display as one of the 18 architecture schools invited from all over the world, which will continue until September 1, 2019.
