Seray Rusçuklu

Research Assistant

Seray is a PhD student in the Architectural Design Program at Istanbul Technical University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Architecture (2022) and MSc in Architectural Design (2025). She is
currently working as a research assistant in the Department of Interior Architecture at MEF University. She tries to question feminist ways of producing architectural spaces within her latest works. As explored
in her master’s thesis, her inspiration is drawn from spatial-writing and archival material. She experiments with various working spaces (such as laboratories, workshops, studios, libraries, and her own room) to explore how situated knowledge(s) emerge through interactions between subjects/makers. She has conducted various workshops and seminars at different universities, focusing on architectural representation as a tool for research. She continues to share her work through “@labofmyown.”
